For our Messy Church closed Facebook group see below.

Our new website is currently under construction. Please do come back another time to see how things might have changed. Meanwhile, we have saved the essential pages from our old website to provide some information while things are being rebuilt.

The Emmanuel is now run by volunteers and the office is only open on Mondays 10-11 and on Wednesdays from 9-11.30. Outside these hours, either leave a message on our answerphone or alternatively send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

The Emmanuel Centre is widely used by both Christian and secular local and national organisations. It is wholly owned by Battle Methodist Church, and the whole building is a modern outward looking Church, which encourages outreach activities and provides events and meetings facilities for all the community.

Battle Methodist Church's Emmanuel Centre has three rooms that can be hired, plus a coffee lounge to relax in, with modern AV facilities, free Wi-Fi, a modern kitchen and a large free car park - the last being a real bonus in Battle. Full disabled facilities. Baby change facilities. The whole complex can be hired for conferences and other larger events, and is registered for weddings. Click on 'Booking the Emmanuel Centre' to the left for fuller details and rates.

All visitors are very welcome. If you are visiting 1066 Country for tourism or working locally or visiting friends and relatives and wish to join us at Battle Methodist Church please click 'How to find us' on the left.

During state school holidays Messy Church takes place at the Emmanuel Centre. When you join in there is a special Facebook page, all for Messy Church, and you will be invited to join this - or ask to join if we forget!) - then click the big Facebook icon below to login to the group.

Battle Methodist Church funded the new Church by the sale of the obsolete old chapel on Lower Lake, by fund raising and donations by its members and friends, and by gifting by the wider Methodist Church of Great Britain community and by other local and national donors.

The maintenance and running costs of Battle Methodist Church's Emmanuel Centre are met by its members and supporters, and from the proceeds generated by various events and the hiring out of its facilities.
